College Scholarships
Who can apply for scholarship?
- Applicant must be from any of the host communities of La Filipina Uy Gongco Group of Companies in Iloilo City; Jordan, Guimaras; and Pres. Roxas, Capiz
- Must be a senior high school graduate in SY 2025-2026 and an incoming first year college studen
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 85%
- Must come from a low income household with an annual income not exceeding P200,000 a year for both parents
- Enrolled in a private school/university for SY 2026-2027.
What are the requirements for scholarship application?
Application letter addressed to the Executive Director, PSA birth certificate, barangay certification of residency, proof of household income (e.g. pay slip, ITR, etc.), certificate of good moral character, report card, diploma, proof of enrollment, and recent 2×2 picture.
When is the application period?
April 22 – May 22, 2026.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Complete all the requirements and submit it to the UFI Office.
What expenses are covered?
Tuition fees, miscellaneous fees, board review and examination (after graduation).
Can I apply if I am already receiving another scholarship?
No.
Volunteers & Internships
How can I volunteer with the foundation?
Complete the requirements needed.
What are the requirements for volunteers or interns?
Letter of intent, curriculum vitae, 2×2 ID picture.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
Volunteers work for a certain number of hours from Monday through Friday to be determined based on discussion with the Executive Director.
Will volunteers receive certificates or recognition?
Yes.
What types of tasks do volunteers usually handle?
Volunteers will be given assignments based on skills, interests and available tasks.

What programs does the foundation offer?
Educational Assistance, Feeding Program, Reinforcement of Learning, Values Formation, Instructional Materials and Facilities, and Scholarship Program for College.
Who are the beneficiaries of your programs?
Elementary, High School and College.

Iloilo City; Jordan, Guimaras; Pres Roxas, Capiz.

How can I donate to the foundation?
You can mail or send a message through the website regarding donations.
Where do donations go?
Donations will be to use for the beneficiaries of our adopted schools in Iloilo City, Guimaras, and Capiz.
Do you accept in-kind donations (food, supplies, etc.)?
Yes.
Can companies partner with the foundation?
Yes.
