As the Foundation’s flagship program, Reinforcement answers the call of the growing issues in education. Within and outside of the classroom, different initiatives are implemented to improve the learning level of the learners in terms of reading and numeracy.

UFI provides for the educational needs of selected students to help answer the needs of the household and to continue schooling. Educational support includes school supplies, school uniform, school shoes and socks.

UFI focuses on encouraging schools to operate their own Income Generating Projects especially in baking. The Foundation provides baking equipment, materials and ingredients as starting capital to the schools. These helped the school earn for their school projects and at the same time provide livelihood opportunities to the parents and teachers who are operating it. UFI also provides trainings to mothers and teachers to further enhance their skills in managing their IGPs.

Furthering educational opportunities to high school students and qualified individuals, scholarship grants are provided to high school graduates and wish to enroll in accountancy or engineering courses. The scholarship covers their tuition and other school fees. After which, they will be placed at any of the La Filipina Uy Gongco Group of Companies for employment.
